Updated: Russians attack warehouses in Odesa region and cargo ship in Black Sea – captain killed

Ukrinform reports this, citing a Telegram post by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA). “Overnight on September 23, Russian forces struck a cargo ship flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda in the Black Sea. The attack caused a fire,” the post reads said. The ship’s captain, a Ukrainian citizen, was killed. The crew was evacuated by the Navy, and the fire was extinguished, according to the USPA. In Odesa region, Russian forces also attacked port and civilian infrastructure. Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook . Russian forces struck warehouses used to store medicines, household goods, and food products twice in succession. It took several hours to extinguish the fire, according to Kiper.
