[Meta To Open First Physical Retail Store] Justin Sullivan To address privacy concerns and a class action lawsuit in California, Meta Platforms (META [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/META]) is expected to unveil smart glasses without a camera at Wednesday’s Connect conference. According to Reuters, camera-free smart glasses will come in two styles, Clubmaster and Burbank, along with a new version of its Meta Ray-Ban glasses with a camera and a thinner and lighter pair of augmented-reality glasses codenamed Phoenix. The glasses are currently equipped with a built-in, high-resolution digital camera to capture point-of-view photos and videos that can be activated either through a physical button in the temple of the glasses or by using a voice command.
