The floor sits about 36% below today's price and the ceiling about 56% above. If you own the stock, that spread is what you are carrying. What You Are Holding Between Those Two Prices The two distances are not the same, and the reason is mechanical: a stock cannot fall below zero, while nothing caps how far it can rise. Read the gap as geometry; optimism has nothing to do with it. The band is not a promise either, and leaves about a one-in-six chance of finishing beyond each end.
