Wall Street’s major averages traded lower Wednesday, with tech-focused Nasdaq Composite (COMP:IND [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/COMP:IND]) falling over 1%, even as President Donald Trump raised the prospect of a negotiated end to the U.S. conflict with Iran. The U.S. chipmaker gained about 24% in the preceding six sessions. Overall, the stock rose over 180% so far this year, compared to the 13% rise in the broader S&P 500 Index. AMD is up nearly 35% over the past one month. The stock closed 1.3% higher on Tuesday at $623.77.
