DoorDash Faces Settlement After Spending Against Mamdani

(RTTNews) - DoorDash (DASH) is set to pay $131.5 million to settle allegations that it underpaid or failed to pay delivery workers in New York City, months after the company spent about $1.4 million during the 2025 mayoral election opposing Zohran Mamdani and supporting former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The settlement includes more than $115 million in restitution for workers and over $16 million in civil penalties and administrative fines. DoorDash was among the largest donors to Fix the City, a super PAC that spent about $31 million seeking to defeat Mamdani. The company also contributed $1.8 million to another super PAC that supported Cuomo.
