Bad weather leaves consumers without power in more than 600 settlements – Ukrenergo

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's national grid operator Ukrenergo announced this on Facebook . "Due to adverse weather conditions (heavy rain and strong wind gusts), more than 600 settlements in eight regions – Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Kyiv and Chernihiv – are fully or partially without power as of this morning. Repair crews from regional power distribution companies are already working to restore damaged overhead power lines, but weather conditions remain difficult in some regions," the statement said. New power outages caused by fresh Russian attacks on energy infrastructure were reported this morning in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Odesa and Vinnytsia regions.
