Media outlets still denied access to White House despite judge’s order

Reporters from CNN, MS NOW and Politico have said they were still being barred from the White House even after a federal judge temporarily blocked United States President Donald Trump’s ban of the three news outlets. In early hours on Thursday, US District Judge Timothy Kelly ordered the White House to “immediately return, reinstate, and restore” the three outlets’ access. He said they had met the legal thresholds to obtain a temporary restraining order, in effect for 14 days, and were likely to succeed in showing that their press passes were revoked without due process. But the journalists continued to be barred on Thursday, the news organisations said, and requested an immediate hearing before Judge Kelly.
