Serbia backs UN reform, broader Security Council representation – Vučić

As reported by an Ukrinform correspondent, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said this in his address to the UN General Assembly. “Serbia supports the United Nations and reform of the UN system so that the Organization may become more effective and better adapted to today’s realities,” he said. Vučić believes the UN Security Council should become more representative. “We advocate a more representative UNSC through greater representation of developing countries, particularly those from the African continent, as well as more inclusive regional representation and the addition of another seat for the Eastern European Group,” the Serbian leader said.
