International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM) and Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT) have established a quantum innovation hub at ETH Zurich through an offset agreement with armasuisse, Switzerland's Federal Office for Defence Procurement. The initiative will host Switzerland's first IBM Quantum System Two, powered by IBM's advanced Quantum Nighthawk processor, at the Swiss National Supercomputing Center in Lugano. Operating the facility alongside ETH Zurich, the collaboration bridges IBM's expertise in quantum computing and AI with Lockheed Martin's focus on quantum sensing and additive manufacturing.
