(RTTNews) - The Malaysia stock market has tracked lower in two straight sessions, shedding almost a dozen points or 0.8 percent in that span. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index now sits just above the 1,670-point plateau and it may extend its losses on Friday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft, still weighed by higher crude oil prices and treasury yields. The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were mixed and little changed and the Asian markets figure to be looking at a soft start. The KLCI finished slightly lower on Thursday as losses from the financial shares, plantation stocks and industrials were tempered by gains from the energy and technology companies.
