(RTTNews) - The Thai stock market has finished lower in two of three trading days since the end of the two-day winning streak in which it had risen just a single point. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now rests just beneath the 1,620-point plateau and it's predicted to open under pressure again on Thursday. The global forecast for the Asian markets suggests consolidation ahead of key inflation data and on U.S. political uncertainty. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses figure to follow that lead. The SET finished modestly lower on Wednesday following losses from the financial shares, electronics and energy producers. For the day, the index shed 10.16 points or 0.62 percent to finish at 1,622.45 after trading between 1,619.
