QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM) said on September 24 that it has renewed its global patent license agreement with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL). The new agreement takes effect on April 1, 2027, when the existing one runs out. Qualcomm did not disclose the financial terms and did not say how long the new agreement runs. For a company whose most profitable business depends on a single customer, the announcement removes the risk that the relationship ends, though not the question of what it is now worth.
