On September 12, 2026, Reuters reported that Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) co-founder and executive chairman Larry Ellison canceled a plan to sell up to 50 million Oracle shares, worth roughly $7.5 billion at the stock's closing price, just one day after Oracle had disclosed the trading plan in a regulatory filing. Oracle said no shares were sold under the plan, which had been adopted on June 22, 2026, and was set to expire October 24. Ellison "has no other plans to sell any of his Oracle stock," without giving a reason for the reversal.
