Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on September 25 that US President Donald Trump has made a “final decision” to grant Ukraine licenses to produce unspecified types of Patriot air defense systems interceptor missiles. [1] Sources within Zelensky’s administration stated that Ukraine is in negotiations with the United States to obtain licenses for the production of more capable PAC-3 interceptors and the simpler PAC-2 interceptors.[2] Trump himself has yet to confirm his decision to grant Ukraine production licenses for Patriot interceptors as of this writing.
