(NASDAQ:META) is expanding the commercial capabilities of its Muse AI assistant through a strategic partnership with Shopify, giving investors another potential avenue for AI monetization beyond digital advertising. On September 21,Shopify CEO Tobias Lütke announced a partnership with Meta to bring Shop Pay agentic checkout to Muse, allowing users to shop from Shopify merchants and complete purchases through the AI assistant. The partnership gives Muse a more direct role in the shopping journey, putting Meta closer to the transaction layer of online commerce rather than simply directing users to third-party websites.
