Ciena's Optical Tech Gets a Boost From CtrlS Deployment

As AI, cloud computing and hyperscale infrastructure expand, the ability to move enormous volumes of data quickly between facilities is becoming exceedingly important. Against this backdrop, CtrlS Datacenters is working with Ciena Corporation CIEN to build five metro networks connecting nine data centers across Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi and Noida in India, with the networks designed to deliver up to 100 Tb/s of capacity. The deployment is part of a larger Managed Optical Fiber Network (MOFN) project for a leading hyperscaler.
