(RTTNews) - The Thai stock market on Tuesday ended the four-day losing streak in which it had slumped almost 15 points or 1 percent. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just beneath the 1,465-point plateau and it's expected to see renewed consolidation on Wednesday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft on rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to follow the latter lead. The SET finished sharply higher on Tuesday following gains from the food, consumer, finance, industrial, property, resource, service and technology sectors. For the day, the index climbed 15,83 points or 1.09 percent to finish at 1,464.66 after trading between 1,449.
