Cartesian's Descartes-08 Shows Durable Responses In Myasthenia Gravis

(RTTNews) - Tuesday, Cartesian Therapeutics (RNAC) reported additional retreatment data for investigational CAR-T therapy Descartes-08 showing sustained improvements in patients with generalized myasthenia gravis (MG). Descartes-08 is an investigational autologous CAR-T therapy targeting BCMA and is being developed for MG and myositis. In a Phase 2 case series of five patients who received retreatment after symptom recurrence, the mean MG-ADL score improved by 6.6 points at 12 months following retreatment, with a median retreatment interval of 16.6 months. The company reported no new safety signals, with no serious adverse events, cytokine release syndrome or neurotoxicity during retreatment.
