UniQure's AMT-130 Shows Continued Slowing Of Huntington's Disease Progression

(RTTNews) - Tuesday, uniQure (QURE) reported new data showing its investigational gene therapy AMT-130 continued to slow measures of Huntington's disease progression in patients followed for up to 48 months. Huntington's disease is a progressive inherited disorder affecting movement, thinking and daily functioning. At 36 months, the company reported an 80% slowing of disease progression on cUHDRS and 67% slowing of disease progression based on Total Functional Capacity (TFC) among high-dose patients. At 48 months, the high-dose group showed 44% slowing on cUHDRS, which was not statistically significant, and 61% slowing on TFC. QURE shares are currently down 45% in the pre-market at $22.00.
