Lockheed Martin LMT continues to strengthen its position in advanced radar and air surveillance systems as the U.S. Air Force invests in capabilities designed to detect and track threats over long distances. The company recently received an $18.9 million contract modification for the Three-Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar program. The latest award increases the cumulative face value of the contract to approximately $1.01 billion from $991.3 million. Work will be performed in Liverpool, NY, and is expected to be completed by June 2029, providing Lockheed Martin with continued program visibility. Three-dimensional long-range radar systems are designed to provide detailed information on the location, altitude and movement of airborne objects.
