The head of the German government made the statement at a joint press conference with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Berlin on Tuesday, according to a Ukrinform correspondent. Merz said that he was also making efforts in personal conversations with a wide range of heads of state and government around the world to secure the necessary additional deliveries for Ukraine's air defense. He added that this was currently the most vulnerable area and expressed hope that they would be able to prepare Ukraine for the coming winter, particularly in terms of energy supplies. According to the chancellor, Germany was holding intensive consultations with its European partners on how to further improve assistance to Ukraine.
