A 13-year-old elementary schoolboy has stabbed a 61-year-old female teacher dead in northwestern Slovakia, according to authorities. A 44-year-old female teacher and a schoolgirl were also seriously wounded in Tuesday’s attack in the village of Staskov, near the Czech border, emergency service spokeswoman Petra Klimesova told the AFP news agency. Health Minister Kamil Sasko told reporters the schoolgirl was “in a serious, critical condition”. Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok said at a news conference in Staskov that the life of the second teacher who was stabbed in the chest was not in danger. Police said the attacker was arrested and is being investigated by the Office for Combating Organised Crime (UBOK) for “premeditated murder”.
