Ukrinform reports this, citing the Lviv City Council on its official website. “During the examination of an area of about 260 square meters, specialists discovered 133 individual graves. In total, the remains of 115 soldiers of the Polish Army and 18 soldiers of the German Wehrmacht were exhumed,” the statement said. According to Liubomyr Horbach, head of the NGO Memory, which searches for war victims, all the soldiers were buried in separate graves in three densely packed rows without standard passages between them. They were likely buried by local residents. Researchers checked the site for a fourth row but found no additional graves. In total, specialists found about 2,900 items during the exhumation.
