(RTTNews) - Wednesday, MiNK Therapeutics (INKT) said its agenT-797 iNKT cell therapy platform was selected for an ARPA-H-funded initiative aimed at enabling room-temperature storage and transport of cell therapies. The program is part of ARPA-H's four-year BioStabilization Systems (BoSS) initiative, which has committed up to $87 million to reduce reliance on cryogenic cold-chain infrastructure. MiNK will participate in a team led by Draper developing technologies to stabilize living cell therapies at room temperature. The team plans to use AI-assisted design and freeze-assisted droplet drying to optimize formulations and preserve cell function.
