Pump pressure is mounting in Singapore, with Chinese state-owned Sinopec becoming the latest fuel retailer to raise petrol prices on Thursday (Oct 1). In a price board update posted at its stations on Thursday afternoon, Sinopec announced that it had raised prices across its petrol offerings — 95-octane, 95-octane and premium petrol — by 5 cents each, while keeping diesel prices unchanged.
