Upon taking office, the Trump Administration immediately worked to secure the border, unleash American energy, usher in a wave of new investment, make life affordable for working families, and right-size the federal government. These policies have driven a manufacturing boom, turned America into an energy-producing powerhouse, and made the country more affordable for hardworking Americans. There is, of course, more to be done, but we finally have an economy built around rewarding the people who do the actual building. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have offered an alternative vision, one relying on taking resources from workers and entrepreneurs or taxing the income of future generations to finance massive spending today.
