Ericsson ERIC has been selected by Cellnex Poland as one of the suppliers for the modernization and expansion of its Radio Access Network (RAN), marking another opportunity for the company to strengthen its position in the European 5G infrastructure market. The agreement covers radios, RAN compute modules, microwave links, antennas and enclosures. The deployment is designed to help improve network coverage, speeds and reliability across urban and rural areas while reducing site footprint, energy consumption and tower load. The latest agreement highlights Ericsson's expanding role in network modernization as operators and infrastructure providers look to support rising mobile data demand.
