During National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we celebrate the resilience and courage of our Nation’s four million breast cancer survivors, extend our unwavering support to those currently in the fight, and honor the memory of beloved family members and friends lost to this terrible disease. In an instant, a breast cancer diagnosis forever changes the life of the patient and the lives of those around them. This year in the United States, more than 380,000 women will receive this devastating news, and approximately 40,000 souls will be lost to breast cancer.
