Shares of earth imaging satellite company Planet Labs (NYSE:PL) jumped 7.8% in the afternoon session after Planet Labs launched 20 satellites on SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare from Vandenberg, including a prototype for Google's Project Suncatcher, according to the company press release. The stack also carried Tanager-2 and 18 SuperDoves; Planet established contact and began commissioning Tanager-2, the Suncatcher prototype, and two SuperDoves.
