Preliminary findings indicate that the minibus driver, who was traveling toward Odesa, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a road barrier and concrete slabs. "As a result of the accident, a female passenger in the minibus was killed. The driver and six other passengers were taken to a medical facility with various injuries," police said. Officers added that the driver would be tested at the hospital for possible intoxication. Police are establishing all the circumstances of the accident and are deciding whether to enter the information into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations.
