A major bridge in Kyiv was targeted in a Russian strike on Saturday, the city's mayor said, as Moscow's intensifies its attacks on infrastructure in the Ukrainian capital. The Northern Bridge across the Dnipro river was struck in the air attack, following a drone alert. "Emergency services are heading to the scene," Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in a statement posted on Telegram. Klitschko added that the road surface and trolleybus wires on the bridge were damaged in the attack. "Traffic across the bridge from the left bank to the right bank is currently blocked," he said. The latest attack comes after the last two days saw the city's Southern Bridge being hit several times in a volley of strikes by Russian drones.
