Salesforce, Inc. (NYSE:CRM) authorized a $50 billion share repurchase program in February 2026, then executed half of it within weeks through the largest accelerated share repurchase in corporate history. Buying back stock is what companies do when they have more cash than ideas. A commitment that size, from a company whose entire market value is under $200 billion, says something about where management expects the next decade of growth to come from.
