Annual inflation in Cyprus is estimated to have stood at 5.2% in September 2026, remaining unchanged from August, according to Eurostat’s flash estimate published on Friday. Based on the European Union-Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), inflation in Cyprus stood at 3.0% in April, 3.5% in May, 4.1% in June and 4.4% in July, before rising to 5.2% in August and, according to the estimate, remaining at the same level in September. Compared with the previous month, the HICP in Cyprus is estimated to have decreased by 0.4% in September. In September 2025, annual inflation in Cyprus stood at 0.0%. Meanwhile, annual inflation in the euro area is estimated to have increased to 3.8% in September 2026, from 3.2% in August.
