Billionaire investor Dan Loeb's Third Point LLC exited five semiconductor-related holdings in the second quarter. According to its 13F filing, a quarterly report of investment holdings submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission within 45 days of the end of each quarter, Third Point fully exited Nvidia Corp., a position worth $33.1 million and Broadcom Inc., worth $15.5 million. The liquidation went beyond those two prominent names. Third Point also sold out of KLA Corp., worth $16.2 million, Lam Research Corp., worth $16 million, and the VanEck Semiconductor ETF, worth $15.3 million.
