This was reported on Telegram by Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform. “In the middle of the day on Monday, the enemy attacked a high-rise building in Berdychiv with a strike drone. Apartments on the 4th through 9th floors were damaged as a result of the strike,” Bunechko said. According to him, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region deployed 17 pieces of equipment and 65 rescue workers to extinguish the fire. The fire was quickly contained, preventing it from spreading. Information regarding casualties and those injured is being verified. Rescue workers, medical personnel, psychologists, and special services are working at the scene.
