Romania Journal stated this in an article , according to Ukrinform. Rhe incident occurred on Monday near the Black Sea coast, close to the Pescăruș offshore gas platform operated by OMV Petrom. The drone struck the Turkish-flagged vessel Royad Mammadov, which was carrying grain. The vessel caught fire and sank, while Romanian authorities participated in the rescue operation. According to Romania’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, two people were killed and 11 crew members were rescued. The incident occurred approximately 20 nautical miles from the Romanian coast and 9 nautical miles from the Pescăruș platform. Digi24 journalist Iulia Stancu said an alert was issued at around 11:00 a.m.
