The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office stated this on Facebook , Ukrinform reports. "According to the investigation, on October 5 at approximately 2:40 p.m., Russian forces carried out a series of airstrikes on Kharkiv's Slobidskyi district. As of now, three people are known to have been killed. Another 39 people are receiving medical assistance," the statement said. A pretrial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime resulting in loss of life (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said at the scene of the attack that one of those killed was an employee of a municipal utility company.
