Disney announced Wednesday that its streaming service Disney+ will air the upcoming Super Bowl in February. The 2027 championship game, as well as two Monday Night Football games leading up to the finals, will be available to all Disney+ subscribers in the U.S. Disney had previously announced that ESPN would produce the Super Bowl in 2027 for the first time ever and the game would air on ESPN and ABC. The announcement is the latest move in Disney's efforts to expand its live sports offerings. The media company announced in August that Formula E races will be available to Disney+ subscribers later this year.
