IREN Limited IREN is positioning its Sweetwater campus as a major long-term AI infrastructure platform. Sweetwater 1 is planned with 1.4 GW of gross capacity, while Sweetwater 2 adds another 600 MW, giving the campus roughly 2 GW of planned gross power capacity. The scale is significant as IREN seeks to own and operate data centers, AI compute and software. Sweetwater also has strategic importance beyond its size. IREN plans to replicate the liquid-cooled data-center design developed for Sweetwater 1 across Sweetwater 2, Kiowa and other planned developments.
