TSMC's Q3 revenue jumps 50% Y/Y to record NT$1.49T, beating estimates

Its Q3 revenue exceeded the LSEG SmartEstimate of NT$1.46T. September revenue alone rose 54.6% Y/Y to NT$511.86B. The figure was down 0.6% from August. The July-September revenue also came above TSMC’s own Q3 guidance of $44.6B to $45.8B. The company had forecasted a gross margin of 65%-67% and an operating margin of 56%-58% for the quarter.
