Ukraine already has interceptor drones for jet-powered Shaheds, scaling up production – Khmara

Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara said this while speaking to journalists. "The effectiveness of countering conventional Shaheds already exceeds 90%. The challenge now is jet-powered drones, which require different interception speeds. Ukraine has already achieved successful results using interceptor drones against jet-powered UAVs. During a combat operation, one unit used five interceptor drones (Bars) to destroy five aerial targets. That is a 100% success rate. This experience is now being studied and scaled up, with additional specialists and units joining the effort," Khmara said.
