A student has been arrested after a principal and teacher were shot at a school in France on Monday morning. The ninth-grade student was detained "immediately" after the incident at Lakanal middle school, Aubagne Mayor Jean-Pierre Squillari said. French media reported the suspect was 14. No children were harmed and the teachers have been treated for injuries which are not life-threatening, Squillari added . Broadcaster BFMTV and Le Parisien reported that the incident was not thought to be related to ongoing protests over school conditions, citing sources familiar with the investigation.
