The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is carrying out research into the UK cyber security labour market and sector, according to a privacy notice published by the department. The notice, issued by DCMS, sets out how personal data will be handled when organisations take part in the cyber security skills and sectoral analysis research 2027. The department said the study is intended to deepen its understanding of the cyber security ecosystem in the UK and will help inform future policy and strategy. The survey is being run on the department's behalf by Ipsos , with Ipsos UK and Perspective Economics commissioned to carry out the work. The research was previously commissioned by the former Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
