During a panel discussion, Central Bank Governor Mihály Varga outlined the country’s priorities. He explained that a successful accession is more important than a premature timeline. Joining the eurozone could be a beneficial step for Hungary, but the timing of the introduction is secondary to the actual maturity of the domestic economy.
