Cornell University in the US has suspended all fraternity parties amid mounting backlash over its handling of an alleged gang rape at a frat house in 2024. Protests have broken out across the US to show support for Jane Doe as the university faces accusations that it did not sufficiently punish the men involved. The fraternity was suspended after Jane Doe initially reported the incident and the college disciplined a number of students, but no criminal charges were filed.
