Zelensky awards state honors to another 319 military personnel, 205 posthumously

The relevant decree, No. 1043/2026 , dated October 13, was published on the president’s official website, Ukrinform reports. The document states that the awards recognize personal courage demonstrated in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the selfless performance of military duties. Private Yurii Kovorotnyi was posthumously awarded the President of Ukraine’s Cross of Combat Merit. The Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Third Class, was awarded posthumously to Sergeant Andrii Hetsko, Second Lieutenant Mykola Dremliuha, Second Lieutenant Serhii Krykun, and Senior Lieutenant Stanislav Maliun. President Zelensky posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, First Class, to Sergeant Vasyl Barskyi and Lieutenant Oleh Slepokura.
