Over 70% of liberated Kherson region cleared of mines

As reported by Ukrinform, Kherson Regional Military Administration chief Oleksandr Prokudin said this at a briefing summarizing the region’s work over the past week. “Explosive ordnance disposal teams surveyed another 760 hectares on the right bank of the Kherson region and destroyed nearly 600 explosive items,” he said. Prokudin stressed that more than 507,000 hectares in the liberated part of the region have now been cleared of mines, accounting for 74% of the total area. As Ukrinform reported, by the end of November 2025, demining teams had cleared 72.1% of the territory in the liberated part of the Kherson region.
