Marvell Technology (NasdaqGS:MRVL) formed an Open Compute Project working group with Microsoft and Oracle to define server-level silicon security standards. The collaboration targets a common hardware security model for data center servers, aiming to align chip vendors and major cloud operators. Marvell introduced industry-first six-channel CXL-based memory expansion solutions designed to feed data hungry AI accelerators in large-scale data centers. The firm also announced new 224G per lane copper connectivity products intended to increase bandwidth within next generation AI server architectures. These new silicon security standards and AI hardware products tell only part of the story for Marvell.
