LONDON — Police are conducting a criminal investigation into a dispute connected to the founding of Your Party, a left-wing political party that was established last year. A spokesperson for London’s Metropolitan Police said it had launched an investigation following a report in September 2025 “relating to the alleged unauthorised access of a political party’s database.” Officers recently arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of an offence under the 1990 Computer Misuse Act, the spokesperson said. He was released pending further enquiries and has not been charged. Officers also previously interviewed a woman in her 30s under caution in connection with the same investigation.
