"Enemy airstrike on a residential neighborhood: Today, October 17, at 3:40 a.m., the enemy launched FAB-250 airstrikes on a residential neighborhood in Sloviansk. Hits were recorded on two high-rise buildings. People may be trapped under the rubble at both locations. Search and rescue operations are ongoing," the statement reads. According to the head of the Civil Protection Service, one person is currently confirmed dead and 10 injured. Four of the injured have been hospitalized. In total, over the past 24 hours and this morning, 16 people were injured in the city, including a 17-year-old girl.
